Who We Are

Hi, I'm the breeder behind Coast2CoastBeetles — a passionate coleopterist with over 8 years of hands-on experience raising beetles spanning a wide variety of species, from common favorites to rare and exotic finds. What started as a personal fascination with these incredible insects has grown into a dedicated breeding operation right here on the West Coast.

I'm not a warehouse or a middleman — every beetle and larva in my shop was raised here, by me, with care and attention to their unique needs.

Our Breeding Facility

Our beetles are bred and raised in a climate-controlled facility on the West Coast, designed specifically around the needs of coleopteran life cycles. From carefully sourced substrate mixes to species-appropriate temperature and humidity ranges, every detail of our setup is built to produce healthy, thriving animals. We maintain breeding generations across a wide range of species — from a few native beetles to exotic stags — so you can be confident you're getting animals that were born and raised in ideal conditions, not imported under stress.

How We Ship Live Beetles

Shipping live animals is something we take very seriously. Every order is:

Packed with species-appropriate substrate to keep beetles and larvae comfortable and secure during transit.
Cushioned against vibration and impact using breathable, insulated packaging suited to the season and transit time.
Shipped with urgency — we only ship on days that allow next-day or 2-day delivery windows to minimize time in transit. However we do not work for the shipping company so delays are out of our hands. For quicker delivery , use express.
Carefully timed around weather to avoid temperature extremes. We may hold shipments during heat waves or freezes to protect your animals. We hold only up a week, live arrival is still possible in extreme temperatures with express shipping.

You'll receive a shipping notification with tracking as soon as your order leaves our facility.

Our Live Arrival Guarantee

We stand behind every living animal we ship. If your order arrives with any DOA (dead on arrival) animals, please photograph them within 2 hours of delivery confirmation and contact us right away — we'll make it right. Please review our full guarantee policy for details on eligible shipments and conditions. EXPRESS SHIPPING IS REQUIRED FOR LIVE ARRIVAL GUARANTEED IN TEMPERATURES UNDER 40F AND OVER 90F. Shipping is never refunded.
